FAQ
Alexandria Laundry Service: questions & answers
Can you actually stop on Old Town’s narrow streets?
Yes — our drivers run these blocks Monday through Saturday and know the loading zones. Leave the bag inside your gate or on the stoop, add any parking notes to the booking, and we manage the rest.
My house has no washer hookup at all. Is this a full replacement?
That is exactly how many Old Town customers use us: a standing weekly pickup replaces owning machines entirely. Most find it costs less than a laundromat once you count time and quarters.
What do you charge in Alexandria?
The same as everywhere we serve: $1.89/lb wash and fold, $35 minimum, free pickup and delivery. Comforters and bulky bedding are flat-priced per item — comforters $19.99, blankets $14.99, pillows $6.99.
Is wash and fold the same as fluff and fold?
Same service, two names. Whether you know it as wash and fold or fluff and fold, it means your everyday laundry comes back washed, dried, neatly folded, and delivered to your door.
How quickly does laundry come back?
Next-day standard. Saturday pickups land back Monday.
Can I get pickup around my commute?
Leave your bag out before you head out. We’re open Monday–Saturday, 8 AM – 8 PM, and you get a text when it’s collected. You get a text before the driver arrives either way.
