FAQ
Fairfax Laundry Service: questions & answers
Do you cover Fairfax City and Fairfax County both?
We cover Fairfax City entirely plus the nearby county neighborhoods — Fair Oaks, Fairfax Station edges, GMU surroundings. Enter your ZIP in the checker above to confirm.
Is this practical for a GMU student budget?
Split a bag with housemates and it typically works out to a few dollars per person per week — competitive with campus machines, minus the waiting and the quarters.
How does weighing and billing work?
We weigh after pickup on calibrated scales at $1.89/lb, send you the total, and charge your card on file. The $35 minimum includes free pickup and delivery.
How fast is turnaround?
Pickups before 1 PM come back the next day; after 1 PM, the day after. Saturday pickups return Monday.
What about big seasonal items?
Comforters are $19.99, blankets $14.99, and pillows $6.99 per piece — the things that never fit in a home machine are our specialty.
Do you offer fluff and fold in Fairfax?
We do — fluff and fold and wash and fold are two names for one service. Book either and your Fairfax laundry comes back washed, dried, and drawer-ready at $1.89/lb with the $35 minimum.
