If you live in Prince George’s County and want laundry picked up, washed, folded, and returned without a laundromat trip, these are the realistic options in 2026 — ranked by what matters for a PG County household: price per pound, whether delivery is really free, how fast it comes back, and who actually washes your clothes.

1. WashPro Laundry Service
WashPro Laundry Service — $1.89/lb, $35 minimum, detergent and softener included, free pickup and delivery on $35+, next-day standard, same-day at $2.79/lb before 10 AM. Washed in our own facility, orders never mixed. Pickup and delivery only — no storefront. Coverage in PG County: Hyattsville, Landover, Greenbelt, College Park, Laurel, Bowie, District Heights, and Fort Washington — see the county page.
2. Poplin
Poplin — a nationwide app; laundry is washed by independent “Laundry Pros” in their homes. Its site lists next-day service at $1/lb in most zip codes, $2/lb express, a $3 per-order trust-and-safety fee, $8 extra per oversized item, and a $30 minimum. Quality depends on which Pro accepts the job. Coverage depends on Pro availability by zip; Beltway suburbs are usually covered, outer county less reliably.
3. ByNext
ByNext — a regional pickup service since 2017 with its own facility; public pricing shows $2.69/lb pay-as-you-go or $2.29/lb on a membership, 24–48 hour turnaround, and dry cleaning as well as wash and fold. It lists Fort Washington and other PG addresses in its regional service area.
4. Rinse
Rinse — a national brand that combines dry cleaning with wash and fold; wash and fold is sold pay-as-you-go or via its “Rinse Repeat” subscription priced per bag rather than per pound, with 7-day pickup windows. Strongest closer in; check zip coverage for PG County.
5. Local laundromats with delivery
Neighborhood cleaners and laundromats — many local dry cleaners quote wash and fold at roughly $2.06–$3.23/lb in ByNext’s published comparisons, usually drop-off only with 1–3 day turnaround. A few PG County laundromats offer their own pickup on set days; ask about minimums and whether detergent is included.
How to choose
- Compare the all-in cost, not the headline rate. $1/lb plus a $3 fee plus $8 per comforter can end up close to $1.89/lb with everything included.
- Ask who washes it. A facility with dedicated machines versus a gig worker’s home washer is the biggest quality variable.
- Check the minimum. $30–$35 is standard; anything under that is billed at the minimum.
- Confirm turnaround. “Next day” should mean next day — read the fine print on cutoff times.
